Directions to Maine Meeting
Neil's FC training is scheduled to start at 4 pm (not 4:30 as I indicated earlier) on March 14 at the function room on the 2nd floor of the Shipyard building. The room is right near the main entrance to Federal Jacks Restaurant. ACTEM will provide muffins and coffee on Saturday morning and Saturday lunch. On Friday night everyone is on their own and we will order individually from the Federal Jacks menu.

Dennis Crowe and I visited the room last week and found the wireless signal to be fairly strong. Matt the Sou Chef/Tech Coordinator is planning some amplification improvements. We are making arrangements for backup hard wire in case of emergency. Also Dennis approved the coffee quality.

PLEASE LET ME KNOW if you will be attending dinner (probably 6:30 ish) and if you will have a companion with you so we can plan for the necessary seating. Also let me know if you are just planning to attend the Saturday meeting.

Federal Jacks location is 6 Western Ave., Kennebunk 04043 (it's right on the Kport border).

Directions from the south: Exit I95 (Maine Turnpike) at Exit 19 (Wells-Sanford). Turn left after tollbooth on RTE 109 and go 1.5 miles to Route 1. Turn left heading north for about 2 miles past Lighthouse Depot & Maine Diner. Turn right on Route 9 and follow 4 miles to light.  Across the street on left is Sunoco, on right is King Points Inn. Go straight through intersection 300 yards and turn right into Parking Lot of Federal Jacks/Shipyard. Our building is the back one and there is parking around back as well as along the front.

Directions from the north:  Exit Maine Turnpike at Exit 25 Kennebunk. Left after toll then a quick left on Rte 35 (Fletcher St). Stay on RTE 35 for 1.7 miles (you go around a small rotary) to the light. Turn left on Main St (still Rte 35) and follow Rte 35 another 3.5 miles to a light with a Sunoco station on left. Turn left. Go 300 yards and turn right into Parking Lot of Federal Jacks/Shipyard. Our building is the back one and there is parking around back as well as along the front.

For the Kennebunkport Inn just continue past the entrance to Federal Jacks, over a small bridge. You go up a slight rise and the inn is on the left.
